The venue can be reached by public transport, using the Tyne & Wear Metro. The closest station is Walkergate on the Yellow line, from which it is a 5-minute walk.
There is plenty of free parking on the day of the event.
There will be a café on site for competitors to purchase food and drinks from, as well as a LIDL and a few restaurants nearby. Competitors are asked to supply their own food and drink for the event.
The Fencing Centre has full toilet, changing and shower facilities available.
