Entry Allowance

Institutions can request two guaranteed entries (which must meet the equivalent entry standard) and two non-guaranteed entries. For 3 or 4 entries, ALL 3 or 4 athletes must meet the equivalent entry standard. Entry standards must be achieved between 1 January 2022 and 2 April 2024.

If a race reaches capacity, there will be a B race and seeding of the races will be based on an athlete’s entry standard. If the event reaches capacity, BUCS may need to restrict the number of entries per institution. In this circumstance, the Athletic Unions will be contacted to determine selected athletes.

Entry Standard

The following standards must be achieved by ALL competitors between 1 January 2022 and 2 April 2024

Number of entrants Category - Men Category - Women

3-4 athletes 33:30.00 40:00.00

These times must be attained from either a 10,000m track race in the first instance or a 10km road race. The track time will take precedence.
