Team Score Calculation

TEAM SCORE CALCULATION

[WA50/60/70 weighted rank] + [WA50/60/70 % of baseline score] + [WA900 weighted rank] + [WA900 % of baseline score] = combined ranked score

Equipment

All equipment needs to meet the current regulations set out by World Archery and ArcheryGB. If an archer's equipment does not meet the regulations on the day of the tournament, they will not be allowed to compete and they will be fined as a “no show”.  It is recommended to bring multiple spare arrows (e.g. a total of 9+) as the shoot will not be held up to allow archers to find/fix lost/damaged arrows

Clothing

Competitors’ clothing must conform to Archery GB Rules of Shooting, rule 307. Archer arriving in clothing that does not conform to rule 307, will not be allowed to compete until they are in appropriate clothing.

Volunteering

In order to enable the shoot to run as smoothly as possible the organising team are looking to build a large field party to assist in the running of the event. Anyone not shooting, and able to volunteer should join the Facebook event here or email [email protected]

Metal Detectors & Arrow Jacs

If your club owns a metal detector and/or arrow jac, we would be very grateful if you could bring them with you. A system will be implemented to ensure that all equipment is looked after and that the person in charge of it is accountable for any damage, should it occur. If you can bring a metal detector, arrow jac or any other equipment you think would benefit us, please let us know by emailing [email protected]

Catering & Facilities

There will be a catering service in the pavilion selling food and drinks from 7:30-17:00 on each day of shooting, or alternatively competitors can bring a packed lunch. All competitors are advised to bring plenty of water with them to drink throughout the day, however there is a drinking water tap on the side of the pavilion to refill bottles. There will not be time to leave the shoot at lunchtime to purchase food from a supermarket. Queen’s Bar will be open until 23:00 selling a limited selection of food and drink (last food orders 22:00).

An accessible toilet can be found in the Pavilion.

Please be aware that Lilleshall no longer provide camping.

Parking

Please park at the main visitor car park. All mini busses are required to park in the overflow car park which is linked to main car park and will be sign posted. Coaches are not permitted to stay on site.
