Clay Pigeon Shooting

The BUCS Clay Pigeon Shooting programme includes an annual Clay Pigeon Shooting Championships, which this year is based at West Midlands Shooting Ground.

The competition invites undergraduates and alumni pupils to compete for BUCS points and Trophies. Individual Male and Female Champions are crowned, alongside the winners of the Men's and Women's Team Championships.

Clay pigeon Shooting is also part of the BUCS international programme and is competed at the World University Summer Games and World University Championships.

The international University Sports Federation (FISU) organise the World University Games (the Universiade) every two years.  The Universiade is widely recognised as the second largest multisport Games in the world after the Olympics and progressively has risen to World Class in scale and standard, with over 10,000 participants from 150+ countries.

The World University Championships are for national representative teams (GB & NI) and are held every two years in various countries across the world.
