Clay Pigeon Shooting
The BUCS Clay Pigeon Shooting programme currently consists of one major Clay Pigeon Shooting Championship a season, recently based at the West Midlands Shooting Ground. Individual Male and Female Champions are crowned, alongside the winners of the Men’s and Women’s Team Championships.
The Sport Advisory Group for Clay Pigeon Shooting provide the technical sport specific advice to ensure BUCS can run and develop the programme effectively. If you are interested in getting involved in the Sports Advisory Group please contact Catherine Massie.
Clay pigeon Shooting is also part of the BUCS international programme and is competed at the World University Summer Games and World University Championships.
The international University Sports Federation (FISU) organise the World University Games (the Universiade) every two years. The Universiade is widely recognised as the second largest multisport Games in the world after the Olympics and progressively has risen to World Class in scale and standard, with over 10,000 participants from 150+ countries.
The World University Championships are for national representative teams (GB & NI) and are held every two years in various countries across the world.
