The 2024 edition of the Championships will take place in Bansko, Bulgaria from 1-5 August.

GB Students competed in the 2022 FISU World University Orienteering Championships and BUCS is sanctioning this year’s delegation as National University Sports Federation (NUSF) to represent the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Orienteering combines technical orienteering skills and running stamina and is one of the oldest sports of the FISU World University Championships programme. It was added in 1978 with the inaugural edition in Jyvaskyla, Finland.
