Description

We are looking for someone who can create a welcoming and inclusive environment, delivering enjoyable and progressive sessions for students of all ability levels, from complete beginners to experienced archers.

The successful candidate will be confident in managing group sessions, supporting individual development, and fostering a positive club culture.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver 2 hours of coaching per week during term time

- Cater sessions to a wide range of experience levels

- Promote good technique, safety, and sportsmanship

- Support the development and progression of student athletes

- Liaise with the Sports Department and Club Committee as needed Essential

Requirements:

- A relevant Archery coaching qualification (e.g. Archery GB Level 1 or higher)

- Experience coaching or instructing archery, ideally in a club or university setting

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment

Desirable:

- First Aid qualification

- Experience working with students or young adults
