Description
The University of Bath Lacrosse Club is looking for a new women’s Head Coach, in order to further our lacrosse programme.
The Women's 1st team are the only team in the Premiership division who don't have a coach. Despite this, they compete well within the Southern division, placing joint third with Cambridge last year and only losing out to goal difference. The new head coach would be responsible for coaching the women’s first team at Bath. In addition to this, the coach would assist the captain in team selection, aid the team to reach their potential, conduct structured training sessions and introduce a progressive style of lacrosse into the programme.
The ideal candidate we are looking for will:
- Have the ability to commit to two first team training sessions a week, at the very least one.
- Potentially be able to make Wednesday BUCS fixtures.
- Have level 2 coaching qualifications.
- Have an insight into the women’s side of the game, whether that’s through previous playing or coaching experience.
- Bring an enthusiasm and passion to the team.
- Set and work towards performance targets in conjunction with the University’s Lacrosse Committee.
The guidelines set out above are the ideal candidate, however, these are not required restrictions and the terms of the role are open for discussion.
