Description
Our training sessions are held at Lancaster University Sports Centre on Monday (20:30-22:00) and Saturday (16:30-18:00) evenings.
We ask that if you are unable to attend training sessions, you would help the captains by providing swim sets and session plans.
Your salary will be based on your experience and qualifications: - UKCC Level 2 Coach £20-£25ph (dependent on experience) - UKCC Level 3 Coach £25-£30ph (dependent on experience)
Requirements for the role:
- You must have must have your own Public Liability Insurance or affiliation to their any of the following NGBs: Swim England, Swim Wales, Scottish Swimming or equivalent.
- You must hold a minimum of a UKCC Level 2 qualification.
Preferable Skills:
- Flexibility and adaptability: adapt training based on match performance and what the team needs are.
- Multitasking: we are two different teams with different needs and abilities, which requires the coach to be able to switch between coaching one team to other; including running drills for each team simultaneously.
- Patience: we have varying abilities in both teams, between beginners and International players, when teaching and coaching new skills and techniques to the teams and players.
