What’s the job? You will provide advice and guidance for the Sports Clubs, particularly in relation to health and safety, managing finances and planning events & activities. You will coordinate all of the BUCS fixtures for Warwick SU Clubs & be the main point of contact for BUCS and other institutions competing in BUCS. Warwick SU and Warwick Sport work in strong partnership to support Sports Clubs. This role is critical to the effectiveness of this relationship. Sport is an important part of campus life at Warwick and the SU works in partnership with Warwick Sport to strive for sporting achievement and an active campus. You will be responsible for maintaining good communication & relationships with the Sports Clubs which includes keeping sections of the SU website up to date and using your knowledge of social media to communicate effectively with our members, promoting the Sports Clubs, BUCS fixtures and their activities & having daily interaction with members to provide advice and guidance.

Who you are? This fantastic opportunity requires someone who is dynamic, has a flexible and approachable manner, self-motivated with determination to find solutions for Sports Clubs when planning BUCS Sports fixtures & activities for their members. You must be an effective written and verbal communicator with strong customer service skills. You must also possess excellent planning and organisational skills and have experience of administering BUCS fixtures, Sports events & activities. You will be highly PC literate and able to use data to make improvements to services. Experience of working with volunteers in a sports environment is highly desirable.

Hours: 36.5 hours per week. Some weekend and evening working may be required from time to time for special events. Time off in lieu will be granted

Salary: Starting from £20,604 to £23,059 per annum

Location: Warwick SU, Coventry, West Midlands, UK (please note there may be working from home requirements due to current UK government guidelines)

Benefits: 20 days’ holiday per annum and no less than 15 days for Christmas, New Year, Easter, May-Day, Spring and late Bank holidays (or days in lieu thereof), Contributory Pension Scheme
