Part Time Coordinator (Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme)
WLV Sport is part of the Institute of Human Sciences situated in the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing and provides physical activity and sports provision for students, staff and the local are looking for a Part Time Coordinator (15 hours a week) for our Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme (TASS) programme (Agile remote working options will be considered)
Part Time Coordinator Overview:
- Ideally you will have an interest in performance sport, you will coordinate the TASS Delivery Site and support other areas of the performance sport programme within WLV Sport and the wider university.
- Day to day you will liaise with and coordinate athletes, associated performance hubs and internal sport networks.
- You will be responsible for organising and implementing an efficient booking process ensuring that athletes can receive their core services.
- Ensure that we meet the minimum operating standards of the TASS Delivery Site to ensure compliance and continuation of the accreditation.
- While in post you will be supported to undertake the Talented Athlete Lifestyle Support Award and UK-Anti doping courses to become a lifestyle practitioner, taking a lead on delivering lifestyle support to all athletes and associated hubs as part of the delivery site.
Part Time Coordinator Requirements:
- You will have experience in the coordination and administration programmes ideally within sports administration.
- Excellent customer services skills
- Practical experience of planning and coordinating events/workshops
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects alongside excellent organisational and planning skills to meet deadlines
- Competent in the use of Microsoft packages including but not limited to; excel, PowerPoint and Word
