Description

As part of the student sport vision to provide the best possible student experience, Surrey Sports Park is looking to recruit a part-time BUCS Co-ordinator to provide high-level support to the clubs, teams and staff within Team Surrey BUCS administrative activities, to ensure the smooth running and professionalism of the Club Sport Programme.

The post holder will have experience of providing administrative support to multiple sporting fixtures/events and be able to plan and organise effectively. They will also have the ability to build effective working relationships within the team, with other colleagues and with external partners.

The successful candidate will be expected to take information and use problem solving to actively identify solutions to problems as and when they arise.

The successful candidate must be educated to A level standard and have relevant experience in working/volunteering in university sport.

In addition, the post holder will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and administration skills, along with adaptability, openness to change and personal motivation in all aspects of their work.

Typical (but not necessarily fixed - these can be discussed) hours will be:- Monday: 9-3.30; Tuesday 9-5.30; Wednesday 9-5.30; Thursday 9-12 - these may differ between term time and holidays.
