Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and resourceful individual to join our team at University of Nottingham Sport as our Finance Officer. You will have significant experience within a finance role with excellent organisation, communication and administrative skills. You will also have a strong understanding of finance and business processes, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and will be responsible for providing comprehensive and efficient finance support to our department.
As finance officer, you will play an important role in enabling our department to work effectively ensuring we have robust financial best practices in place whilst also supporting the vision for sport which is to deliver an outstanding student sporting offer and establish the University as the first choice for students wishing to combine a top quality education with an outstanding sporting experience. The £40 million sports village provides a premier training and competition venue for over 25,000 students and elite athletes every year, a hub for health and fitness programmes as well as social and recreational sport and physical activities.
This role is available on a permanent basis.
Hours of work are full time (36.25 hours).
