Description

The University of Nottingham is investing significantly in it’s sporting infrastructure, with a £40m Sports Village and substantial investment in it’s coaching and development support for it’s 75 sports clubs and 125+ active teams. The University were also recently awarded The Sunday Times Good University Guide Sports University of the Year 2021.

We are currently seeking a Head Netball Coach for the upcoming 2021/22 season. The club currently consists of six BUCS teams and two IMS teams; including a first team who play in the BUCS Premier North division. We require an experienced head coach to lead the delivery of the performance programme in line with the UoN Vision for Sport that ensures sustained performance success and outstanding student experience across the wider club.

The contract period will be September 2021 – June 2022, within this contract period the Head Coach, required to hold a minimum of Level 2 coaching qualification or significant experience at international playing level, will deliver an innovative and effective Netball programme to support the development of elite, competitive and participation netball within the club.

The deliverer must also hold appropriate insurance.

This is a tender process with the minimum hours of the contract set at 421 over a 30-week period, which will include coaching delivery, attendance at matches, club development, recruitment and administration.
