The University of Nottingham is investing significantly in its sporting infrastructure, with a £40m Sports Village and substantial investment in its coaching and development support for it’s 74 sports clubs and 130+ active BUCS teams.
We are currently seeking a Lead Coach for the Flag American Football programme.
The club consists of over 30 members; ranging from complete beginners to national level players.
We are looking for an qualified coach to lead in the the delivery of flag football in line with the UoN Vision for Sport with a passion for developing student athletes and encouraging a positive attitude that ensures sustained performance success and outstanding student experience across the wider club.
The contract will run for an academic year (September 2022 – June 2023). Within this contract period the Lead Coach, required to hold the appropriate insurance, will deliver an innovative and effective coaching programme to support the development of elite, competitive and participation flag football within the club.
Delivery times for the role are:
Tuesday’s 20.00 – 22.00
Saturday’s 10.00 – 12.00
The duties of the role shall include coaching delivery, attendance at events/competitions and general programme planning and administration.
