Sport Liverpool delivers the non-academic sporting offer across the University. We are responsible for sports facilities, the sports scholarship programme, Athletic Union sports clubs, wellbeing, sport and physical activity participation programmes and outreach initiatives within the University community.
We are seeking a highly motivated, empathetic, knowledgeable and experienced Sports Development Coordinator who is passionate about student sport, has a strong knowledge of BUCS and can contribute to the on-going success of Sport Liverpool. Working with the BUCS sport administrative and competition platform, BUCS Play, will be a significant component of this role so previous experience of working with it will be an advantage.
This role is about delivering exceptional service with an emphasis on administering our student teams and individuals participation in the national student competitions organised by BUCS.
Administrative support for our club committee members is a key responsibility.
You should have 3 GCSE's at Grade C or above (or equivalent), including English Language. You will be a confident communicator with an ability to work effectively as part of the Sports Development team and other colleagues within Sport Liverpool and the wider University.
Reporting to the Sports Development Manager you will play a key role in supporting the implementation of the University of Liverpool Sports Strategy.
