Description
In this role you will have the specific purpose of managing the administration and development of the University's Performance Sport Programme.
Reporting to the Head of Sport & Phyiscal Activity, the responsibilities include the management of club sport through BUCS and general competitions; the UEA Sport Scholarship programme (supporting more than a hundred athletes across three tiers); the Sportspark initiated community performance athlete scheme (Norfolk Sports Academy); and developing the focus sport programme.
This is all in close collaboration with relevant University departments, sports NGB's and external clubs and agencies. This is further supported by a performance development approach for student club sport, in association with the uea+sport team.
