Are you passionate about the impact that sport and physical activity can have on the lives of individuals and communities?

Do you want to work in one of the UK’s largest and busiest sports complexes?

If the answer to both of those questions is yes, then we’d love to hear from you – an exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and confident coordinator to assist the Community Sports Development Service at the UEA Sportspark.

You will assist in the delivery of the Sportspark’s Community Sports Development (CSD) service, participating in the planning, development, marketing and delivery of the onsite and outreach sport and physical activity programmes.

You will work alongside other Sportspark and UEA departments and a wide range of external partners such as Active Norfolk, governing bodies, schools and charities to enhance the opportunities available for the local community to take part in regular and high-quality sport and physical activity.

We are seeking an individual with relevant experience of delivering and coordinating sport and physical activity programmes, including with young people.

You will be able to communicate effectively and efficiently with a range of partners and have excellent organisation and administration skills.

This post will offer exposure to wide range of departments within the Sportspark and the UEA and is ideal for an individual looking to progress their career in sport and physical activity development.

Appointment will be subject to a criminal record check at Enhanced level from the Disclosure and Barring Service. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.

This full-time post is available immediately on an indefinite basis.
