We have invested in an extensive and varied portfolio of facilities across the Universities campuses including a brand new state of the art 100+ station gym and studio on Lewes Road whilst embarking on moving premises into a newly refurbished facility at Falmer.
Your experience in the fitness industry will help us develop those services, ensure high levels of customer service and create a motivating environment for our users and your colleagues.
To succeed in the role of developing Sport Brighton engagement, retention and utilisation, you will need
- A sound working knowledge of the fitness- industry at a delivery and supervisory level
- Strong interpersonal skills, self motivation
- The ability to manage time and workload effectively
- You will work on a 3 week rotational shift pattern that includes daytime, evenings and weekend shifts and will oversee/undertake facility operations, enhance member experience, process membership sales, drive/develop promotions and undertake class/programme delivery.

All fitness instructors also have the opportunity to take advantage of the large customer base and supplement their role by undertaking personal training, according to their qualifications, outside of their core hours.
