We are looking for an experienced manager who is enthusiastic to join our vibrant team at Unique Fitness.

We will fund the essential National Pool Lifeguard, Gym Instructor and Pool Plant Operators Certificate qualifications for the appointed candidate.
The position available is a full time contract and consists of a three weekly rota.

Key Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of the Front of House Manager role include, but are not limited to:
· Effective day to day management of operations at Unique Fitness to provide a safe, welcoming and hygienic environment.
· Line management responsibility of staff on shift including training and informal performance, capability, and attendance management.
· Responsibility for ensuring the consistent delivery of excellent, knowledgeable, and professional customer service across the team.
· Management of day to day administrative tasks.

The Person:
The key skills and qualities of a Front of House Manager:
- National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (to be achieved within 2 months of probation organisation to fund training)
- Gym Instructor qualification (to be achieved within 2 months of probation organisation to fund training)
- Level 2 Group Training Qualification (to be achieved within 6 months of probation organisation to fund training)
- Enthusiastic and committed
- Good customer service and communication skills

Note – the candidate must be a competent swimmer and be willing to obtain the essential qualifications within the specified timeframe. These qualifications will be funded by Unique Fitness.
Competent swimmer criteria include:
- Jump/dive into deep water
- Swim 50 metres in less than 60 seconds
- Swim 100 metres continuously on front and back in deep water
- Tread water for 30 seconds
- Surface dive to the floor of the pool
- Climb out unaided without ladder/steps and where the pool design permits.
