Working Hours: Monday evenings and Weekend BUCS fixtures.
We are recruiting for a Touch Rugby Performance Coach to join the newly formed Sport and Physical Activity Team within WLV Sport. We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to develop our Touch Rugby team. The University participates in British Universities and Colleges Sports (BUCS) where we enter a number of sports teams, one of which is Touch Rugby team.
Based at our Walsall Campus you will be an integral part of our coaching team and be responsible for improving participation and performance in Touch Rugby at University of Wolverhampton.
You will plan, develop, and deliver safe, effective, and appropriate coaching sessions to enable the development of skills and enhanced performance of the squad and individual members within the club taking in to account a diverse range of abilities.
The role is a zero-hour contract (number of hours per week to be agreed) across up to 40 weeks between September 2024 and May 2025. Attendance will be expected at key University events, including our Coaching Induction Event and Fresher’s Fair in Welcome week (both in September).
The role requires a minimum Level 2 coaching qualification.
