The Role

We are seeking an organised and motivated individual on a short-term basis to join our International Student Sport Team. This short-term role will focus on leading the coordination of the project plan for all sports linked to the FISU World Championships and EUSA Games, along with other International events. Working closely with the Head of International Student Sport, you will provide project coordination, stakeholder liaison and administration to ensure the successful preparation and support to athletes attending these events, ensuring all have an exceptional student experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop, coordinate and implement the annual project plan for all sports involved in the 2026 FISU World Championships and EUSA Games, along with other international events, taking responsibility to ensure all timelines are adhered too and kept on track.
  • Understand and document all relevant information associated to WUCS,  EUSA Games and Master U to help guide the project plan and ensure compliance with associated GMS systems.
  • Ensure completion of all associated logistics for Master U / BNP Paribas 2025 and WUCS Cross country and other upcoming WUCS events, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, accreditation, and sport compliance processes.
  • Lead the communication and coordination between BUCS members, athletes, staff, and international organising committees.
  • Managing administrative systems, data collection, and reporting.
  • Supporting financial and operational processes where required.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience in project management, coordination and administration.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in liaising with diverse stakeholders.
  • A proactive, flexible, and team-oriented approach.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and planning tools.

Experience in sport events and/or international student sport is desirable but not essential.
