Description

The role is centred on coordinating the studio timetable alongside practical leadership of group exercise sessions as well as complimenting service provision in the fitness suite.
Working under the leadership of the Health, Fitness and Performance Manager this role requires a team focused individual who can work effectively in a small group to contribute to the delivery of outstanding customer service and ensure a professional and positive user experience for all.
The role holder will work with both internal colleagues and timesheet instructors to create and promote a regular group exercise timetable throughout the University year. Basic administration including timetable building on a membership management system and timesheet processing is required within this role. The regular timetable is supplemented by a calendar of one off events and outreach to the wider University audience and the community with this role requiring an individual with an attitude to change lives through physical activity. This role requires a flexible candidate who is able to work shifts including evening and weekends to support operational opening times.

As Studio Coordinator you will need:
A professional qualification in Health & Fitness - Level 2 Instructor or Level 3 Personal Trainer Group Exercise qualifications and licences to lead various sessions and class formats for a variety of clients Proven experience of coordinating group exercise timetables and working in a service driven fitness environment A practical understanding of health and fitness training principles and prescription along with excellent customer service skills
