Key Responsibilities
• Support the delivery and development of inclusive, student-led sports clubs.
• Coordinate club training, competitions, and fixture schedules, liaising with facilities and governing bodies.
• Guide student leaders on club governance, budgeting, ordering, and event planning. Organise and administer external vehicle hire, insurance and compliance.
• Collaborate with the Communications team to ensure SU Sport web content is current and relevant.
• Lead on the organisation and delivery of student sport-related events and recognition activities.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure adherence to health and safety policies for all sports activities.
• Work closely with student officers and clubs to enhance engagement in physical activity.
• Understand and support the functions of the wider Student Activities team, including societies.
• Contribute to long-term planning for participation growth in sport and wellbeing programmes.
• Undertake additional duties as required within the department.
