Join our team at ActiveHud service as a Strength and Conditioning Coach! We are seeking a passionate and motivated individual who loves helping others achieve their fitness and performance goals. As a Strength and Conditioning Coach, you will have the opportunity to join a successful multi-disciplinary team focused on delivering a range of sporting performance programme outcomes here at the University of Huddersfield. You will coordinate and deliver a comprehensive annual Strength and Conditioning plan that meets the needs of individual athletes and teams in our high-quality sport and fitness facilities.

As a Strength & Conditioning Coach, you will deliver the Strength and Conditioning programmes for the University’s sport performance athletes, Students’ Union (SU) teams, and identified external organisations to optimise their performance.

You will work in partnership within a multi-disciplinary Performance Sport team and key stakeholders to successfully engage performance athletes in a range of support services.

Educated to degree level or with equivalent experience in Strength & Conditioning, Health & Fitness or a related field, you will have excellent knowledge and understanding of the range of support services accessed by performance athletes and inter-disciplinary working.

Additionally, you will possess excellent self-management skills, including active reflection on learning, autonomy, self-awareness, action planning, time management, and initiative.
