In 2019/20 we were due to finish in the top 10 of the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) Championships with a record points total, before COVID- 19 ended the season early, and our performance programme is underpinned by our vision of 'inspire potential, deliver excellence' - a vision which is delivered on a by a group of dedicated students and multi-disciplinary staff. 

We are looking for a Physiotherapist or Sports rehabilitator to deliver primarily to students in our performance sport programme, as well as some wider provision delivery. Athletes within our performance sport programme will present from a variety of backgrounds and experiences and come with a number of different needs.

You will possess an in-depth understanding of the field and have an understanding of the variety of needs which the student-athlete may have. You will have experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and a proven track record of delivering successful interventions.

Knowledge of the student competition structures would be advantageous.

The successful candidate will be conscientious with good communication, influencing and team working skills.  You will need to be adaptable and have a flexible approach to work across the academic year, including the availability to work evenings and weekends where necessary, and also away from the university, both within the U.K. and abroad.
