The directorate provides advice and information on financial matters at a corporate level to support the achievement of its strategic aims while ensuring funding is in place to ensure both short- and long-term business requirements.
It also offers decision support and advice for management and budget holders within Schools, the Professional Services Group (PSG) and other parts of the University body.
The support services provided by the directorate include financial operations and financial reporting.
LSBU Active are looking for a Reception and Customer Service Officer to join our team in the state of at art Sport Centre at our Southwark Campus providing a range of health, fitness and sport services.
LSBU Active aims to inspire the development of our students and community through sport and physical activity.
You will provide a high quality and customer focussed first point of contact for all customers and visitors to LSBU Active.
This will entail welcoming visitors and members, answering all queries, updating memberships and bookings, processing payments and providing a range of administrative support services for the department.
About You:
You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to handle customer queries confidently.
You will be able to work effectively on your own initiative but also as part of a wider team, demonstrating an adaptable and flexible approach particularly during busy times.
You are customer focussed and excited about delivering an outstanding service to our students and members.
You have general reception and administrative experience, and in addition to excellent organisational skills you believe that sport and physical active will make positive impact on the community.
You must be committed to delivering first class customer service, with relevant experience in customer facing roles.
