The HERUDG  

Job Description  

The HERUDG is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is currently studying at an institution competing in a rugby union competition to act as Student Representative. The Student Representative will present the voice and opinions of student-athletes and act as an ambassador for the HERUDG.   

Main duties and responsibilities  

  • Act as an ambassador for BUCS and the HERUDG  

  • Establish relationships between the HERUDG and students.  

  • Build and maintain a communication network with other students playing rugby union in institutions other than their own.    

  • Advise the HERUDG on all matters relating to the student perspective.    

  • Offer insight and feedback on the current rugby union disciplinary structure.   

  • Attend all relevant HERUDG meetings and provide any updates on actions from previous meetings.

HERUDG Chair, BUCS Rugby Union Programme Coordinator, BUCS Sport Compliance Coordinator, RFU Partnerships Manager, SRU Head of Competitions and Compliance, WRU Disciplinary and Anti-Doping Manager, Student-athletes
