Description

The postholder will be the operational lead for all domestic league and international competition elements of the BUCS Sport Programme. Strategically, they will be responsible for overseeing the Competitions, National Performance, and International Performance elements of the organisation’s short term action plan, with the opportunity to influence priorities within the new 2022 strategy.

The Head of Competitions & Performance will be a member of the Senior Management Team and will represent BUCS at a senior management level externally, developing robust relationships to strategically develop all programme delivery. They will also be responsible for driving forward the BUCS Sport Review.

Working at BUCS
We pride ourselves on being an ambitious and challenging place to work whilst aiming that staff also enjoy work, have development opportunities, and have fun. 

The contracted place of work will be 20-24 Kings Bench Street, London.  However, due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, staff are still working from home whilst gradually returning to the office.  We are yet to define what the future of work looks like for BUCS, but the appointed candidate would need to be able to work from home as well as being able to travel to the London office.

Interview: Interviews will take place on Friday 12th November 2021.  These are scheduled to be in person but there is flexibility to join remotely if required.
