- Plan and lead training sessions to a group of mixed ability players with diverse backgrounds and experience of the sport - Build confidence of returning players and keep retention rates up across the year
- Encourage new players and be able to teach those who are new to the sport
- Display good coaching conduct in line with Queen Mary Student's Union Code of Conduct
- Be passionate about the sport and building an inclusive and fun environment for players
- Ensure that each member receives focused development
- Be able to provide individual skill improvement, team strategic advantage and teamwork enhancement
- Have an understanding of higher education sport
- Focus on improving players technique to prevent injury
