Are you passionate about international sport? Do you have experience in event coordination, strong organisational skills, and a desire to support elite student athletes on the world stage? If so, this is your chance to be part of one of the biggest multi-sport events in the world!
British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join the GB HQ staff team at the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a world-class experience for Team GB Students at one of the most prestigious university-level competitions.
About the FISU World University Games
The FISU World University Games is one of the largest global multi-sport events, bringing together over 8,500 student-athletes from more than 150 countries. Often compared to the Olympic, Paralympic, and Commonwealth Games in scale and prestige, the event will feature competitions across 18 sports from 16-27 July 2025.
Team GB Students aspire to send a delegation of 150-200 athletes, coaches, and support staff to the Games, and we need a dedicated and proactive GB Students Team Support coordinator to help ensure smooth operations before and during the competition.
Hosted across six sporting hubs - Bochum, Duisburg, Essen, Mülheim an der Ruhr, Hagen, and Berlin - this event offers an unforgettable experience in one of the most sport-loving regions in Europe.
