Description

Falmouth & Exeter Students Union are looking for an organised and enthusiastic Activities Coordinator (Sport) who possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills and is passionate about sport, student development, and is driven by a desire to help and support them.

This role requires a large volume of administrative support to sports clubs to thrive and being a point of call for committee members. You will therefore need to be highly organised, understand how to manage multiple projects effectively, and have a proactive and positive approach to problem-solving.

The ideal candidate will hold a qualification in sport, health or wellbeing together with working experience of sports projects demonstrating successful participation and engagement. We are looking for individuals who can work as part of an energetic team and be enthusiastic about providing plenty of opportunities for students to join our growing number of sports clubs and student led activities to fulfil their potential through participation at all levels, whilst working on project development within the wider Activities team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about promoting fairness, opportunity and equity. Organised and a great communicator, capable of presenting and training students as well as creating documents for different audiences. Most of all, you’ll be positive and good at building rapport to work effectively with a diverse student population and a wide range of partners and stakeholders.

This post is permanent working full-time hours per week (7hr work day), a flexible approach to working hours is required.

As an organisation we do have an agile working programme. For this role the successful candidate will be required to work on campus a minimum of 3 days a week during term time. This will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate.
