Staged Entry

Should the competition allow more entries a Stage 2 entry window will open. Priority will remain with the entries received before the Stage 1 entry closing date. Entries received in the Stage 2 window and accepted into the competition, will be charged an additional 20% fee.

Entry Allowance

Institutions can request an unlimited number of entries, however should the event reach capacity BUCS may need to restrict the number of entries per institution. Therefore when submitting entries on BUCS Play, entries should be ranked in order of preference of entry before being submitted. Should BUCS need to restrict per this will be done equally across instituions. (Where applicable all Para Athletes will be guaranteed entries).
 

Withdrawals

Competitor withdrawals must be made by a competitors institutional admins by emailing Cleo Lyn.

Withdrawals before the entry deadline, 10 March 2022 at 11:59pm (stage one) will not be charged.

Withdrawals after the entry deadline, 10 March 2022 at 11:59pm (stage one) and before midday on the 18 March will still be charged the entry fee.

Competitors who do not withdraw before midday on the 18 March and do not attend the competition will be classed as a late withdrawal or a no show. This means they will be charged the entry fee and will also be fined £10 which will be charged after the event to the competitor’s athletic union.

Should a withdrawal be accompanied with a valid doctor’s note, no fine will be given, but the entry fee will still be charged.
 

Timetable

The full timetable will be released after entries close. 

A few important points:  

  • All racing events, including duals, will take place in the morning session, starting with Ski Slalom. 
  • All freestyle events will take place in the evening session. 
  • Compulsory captains meeting will take place before racing events
  • Freestyle competitior meeting is before the evening session.

 

Substitutions

There are no susbsitutions allowed. This is with the exception of duals which is down to the organiser's discretion. Anyone substituting into duals must be appearing elsewhere in the competition.
