Equipment

All equipment needs to meet the current regulations set out by World Archery and ArcheryGB. If an archer's equipment does not meet the regulations on the day of the tournament, they will not be allowed to compete and they will be fined as a “no show”.  It is recommended to bring multiple spare arrows (e.g. a total of 9+) as the shoot will not be held up to allow archers to find/fix lost/damaged arrows.

Please Note: World Archery recently changed their rules on equipment failures and medicals. More information can be found here

Metal Detectors

If your club owns a metal detector, we would be very grateful if you could bring the metal detector with you. A system will be implemented to ensure that all metal detectors are well looked after and that the person in charge of it is accountable for any damage to the metal detector. If you can bring a metal detector, or any other equipment you think would benefit us, please let us know by emailing [email protected]

Catering

  • There will be food available in the Queen's Cafe which (Saturday from 8am-10:45pm, Sunday from 8am-6:30pm) or alternatively competitors can bring a packed lunch.
  • All competitors are advised to bring plenty of water with them to drink throughout the day, however there is a drinking water tap on the side of the pavilion to refill bottles.
  • There will not be time to leave the shoot at lunchtime to purchase food from a supermarket.

Camping

  • Camping will be available at Lilleshall National Sports Centre on Friday and Saturday nights at a cost of £10 per tent per night. Camping can be booked through this link

Please note: All institutions/archers are responsible for booking their own camping if they require it.

  • Fires and barbecues are strictly prohibited. On both nights there must be no noise after 11pm.
  • Portaloos will be available on the camping field. An accessible toilet can be found in the Pavilion.
  • Showers are available in either the pavilion (accessed via either changing room at the front of the building), or in Queen’s (please ask at reception if directions are required).

Parking

Parking is available in the visitors car park.

Hosts

In order to enable the shoot to run as smoothly as possible the hosts are looking to build a large field party to assist in the running of the event. Anyone not shooting, and able to volunteer should join the facebook event here
