To apply for this competition:

1. Read all information contained on this webpage carefully. Please ensure you have read and understood and accept all information in the entry information tab drop down panels, the expectation of competitors panel and the event guide. If yes, proceed to step 2.
2. Competitor to complete competition application on BUCS Play.
3. Institution administrator approves entry.
4. BUCS approves/denies entry into competition and publishes confirmed entry list.

If you are in any doubt as to whether your entry on BUCS Play has been submitted, please check with your institutional administrator or with LUSL. If you experience technical problems, please take a screenshot and note any details, and again inform your institutional administrator and [email protected] - before the entry deadline. Please do not wait until after the entry deadline and then approach stating you had technical difficulties in entering. To check whether you are eligible to compete in LUSL competitions, please check the LUSL General Regulations. 

British Tennis Membership is NOT a requirement for entry to the LUSL Padel but, since students are entitled to free membership, it is encouraged. Students can apply for British Tennis Membership via the online form here.

Both individuals in a pair must enter and state the full name of their doubles partner when applying on BUCS Play. 

Guest entries (non-LUSL institutions) can also enter on BUCS Play as per the process above. If you experience any issues, please contact LUSL directly, where our Regional Competitions Coordinator can add your pair manually. 

Entry cost: £40 per LUSL Student Entry and £50 per Guest Student Entry

Entries open: Monday 12 February 2024

Student/Competitor Deadline: Tuesday 26 March 2024 at 23:59. (Students must apply by this deadline)

Institution Administrator Approval Deadline: Thursday 28 March 2024 at 23:59 (Institutional Administrators are given 48 hours after the student deadline to approve entries)

Both indviduals in the doubles pairing must enter the LUSL Padel event on BUCS Play. 

All institutions will be guaranteed at least pair up to event capacity. Additional pairings will be accepted, subject to entry numbers. Due to this event being a LUSL Event, LUSL Institutions will take priority over guest entries.
