Class B competitors have been prioritised in the following order (note: institutions which only have guaranteed entries are given preference over institutions which have additional non-guaranteed entries):

1. Win / Loss Ratio
2. Number of bouts fought

What does Class A & B mean?

Class A competitors have been selected as the strongest 8 based on a win/loss ratio. These competitors will compete for BUCS Medals and Points.

Class B competitors will have the opportunity to move into the Class A category if there are any withdrawals. The Class B category will if there is enough competitors. These competitors will compete for BUCS Medals but no BUCS points will be awarded.
