Bringing the best students together in a bi-annual event, the World University Winter Games boasts 12 outstanding winter sports in 11 incredible days.

About the Games

Following the cancellation of the Winter World University Games in Lucerne, Switzerland due to increased covid travel restrictions in December 2021, BUCS is now looking ahead to 2023.

Coordinated by the International University Sports Federation (FISU), the next Winter World University Games will take place in Lake Placid, USA. The Games will take place from 12-22 January 2023 across a range of top-class sporting facilities in Lake Placid, NY. More information on the event and the disciplines offered can be found here.
