The World University Championships give students the chance to step onto the world stage in a single sport event.

Sanctioned by British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS), GB Students compete in FISU World University Championships held bi-annually (even year) in the subsequent years to the FISU World University Games (odd year).

GB Students is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland representative team for higher education, one of the leading nations for international university sport.

The success of GB Students is driven by the collaboration between BUCS, National Governing Bodies (NGBs), member institutions and our countries most exceptionally talented student athletes.

GB Students has a rich history of athletes, coaches, delegation staff and practitioners who progress to represent Team GB and the home nations.
