How to Enter
LUSL is a programme run by BUCS exclusively for the London region. Like any other BUCS programme, institutions will have to be BUCS members in order to participate in it. Associate membership is sufficient to ensure participation in LUSL competitions. In order to participate in the programme, London institutions have to become LUSL Members, which can be done by your institution getting in contact with our Regional Coordinator.
To enter a team, you will have to follow the below steps:
- Ensure your institution is eligible to compete in LUSL, check here that you meet the criteria!
- Contact your sports union to enter your team- this process will be done through BUCS Play in the team entry windows.
- Select a tier to compete in; get your team together and have fun!
- Keep up to date with all LUSL fixtures, updates and activity on BUCS Play and on our social media channels!
BUCS Play
BUCS Play is the key to organising and running your fixtures! Make sure you get yourself and your team signed up and registed to your team to ensure a smooth season ahead.
You will be able to check up on fixtures, league standings, knockout competitions and much more!

To get involved and join in on LUSL, you will need to go to BUCS Play.
Before you get carried away and sign up for the next LUSL season, make sure that your university is on the list.

How to Become a LUSL Member
To become a LUSL member your institution will need to be a BUCS Member (or an associate member). For more information on becoming a BUCS Member please click here or contact us.
Once you become a BUCS Member or associate member, you will be able to enter both teams and individuals into the LUSL Programmes. Once you have started the team entry process, you will have to contact LUSL to confirm you primary LUSL contact. Please note that this could be the same contact as BUCS or a designated LUSL contact.
