Round 10

Hartpury Shock Exeter To Top The Table Whilst Cardiff Secure Their Second Win!

Exeter were left stunned this week by Hartpury whilst Beckett's struggle bumps them to bottom of the table

MATCH 1: Hartpury Keep Exeter Pointless To Top The Table

Hartpury leapfrogged over Exeter thanks to four unanswered tries by the visitors. Exeter's pointless loss marks the first home side to be nilled at home in BUCS Super Rugby History. The win for Hartpury takes them one point clear from Exeter at the top of the table.

MATCH 2: Met Move Level With League Leaders Hartpury

A win against Northumbria marks 5 wins from 6 fixtures for Cardiff Met, taking them to joint top with Hartpury.

The home side entered the break with a small 10-7 lead thanks to a try from Aled Ward alongside Harry Johnston scoring from a penalty.

Met returned from the break ready to claim the win, crossing the line twice in contrast to Northumbria's one. Full time 29-14.

MATCH 3: Trent fall short to on-form Durham

Despite Trent's best efforts, the home side were unable to snatch the lead from a strong Durham side.

The visitors delivered a strong start to the fixture, entering the break with a 7-18 lead over Trent. Despite the fixture leaning in Durham's favour, Trent did everything to turn the tide. A second Trent try after the break kept the home side just 2 points behind Durham, 21-23.

Sadly for Trent, Durham were able to cross over one final time, settling the score for the final whistle. Full time, 21-30.

MATCH 4: Loughborough Loose Home Winning Run To Bath

A win on the road for Bath edges them to just four points off the top spot. The visitors entered the break with a healthy 13-0 lead which extended early in the second half to 20-3. An additional penalty ensured the win was Bath's whilst Loughborough mustered up a consolation try. Final score 10-30.

MATCH 5: Cardiff Win Bumps Them Off The Bottom!

A second win for Cardiff sees them move off the bottom for the first time this season thanks to an excellent performance against Leeds Beckett.

Both sides were challenged with difficult conditions but Cardiff managed to use this to their advantage. Tries from Alex Everett & Marcus Ramage complimented with a penalty try was enough to provide Cardiff with the win. Meanwhile, Beckett could only secure an unconverted try throughout the game. The loss for Beckett now sees them move to the foot of the league. Full time, 30-3.
