Full Membership

Full membership shall entitle the institution to full voting rights and access to all services provided by the Company including all team and individual sporting events.

Full membership can only be granted with the approval of two thirds of the membership at the next AGM. Should an institution wish to become a member during the academic year then only Associate membership may be granted until such time as the above approval can be sought (see Associate membership details below).

VotingTwo representatives from each member institution will be eligible to attend general meetings and the AGM.  The Articles of the Company state that institutions should nominate their two representatives with the requirement that one will be a representative of the students (usually the elected student officer), and that one will represent the staff responsible for the delivery   of sporting services within the institution.

Institutions are requested to specify their two representatives, who will be the point of contact from the date of admission to the end of the academic year.

The Affiliation Fee for a Full Member is calculated based on student numbers and also number of entries into events. The calculation is as follows:

25% based on a per capita basis & 75% based on teams/individuals entered. This ensures that the more an institution participates the more their contribution is to the running costs in proportionate terms.

Please note a minimum charge of £50 will be applied where the calculated 'Full Fee' is below this amount.
