Pulse Group

The Pulse Group are the official two-year partner of the Physical Activity and Health Strand of the BUCS Strategy 2017-21. The purpose of the strand is to inspire and enable higher education communities, both students and staff alike, to become more active more often. 

The Pulse Group is a leading global provider of bespoke and innovative leisure solutions. Working with many of our clients as strategic leisure development partner, Pulse can offer a wide range of services through its four separate divisions.

Pulse Design & Build division is responsible for designing, constructing and fitting out state-of-the-art leisure centres as well as completing full refurbishments of existing facilities.

Pulse Fitness has an award-winning portfolio of over 250 pieces of fitness equipment and is the only UK company to research, design, develop and assemble equipment in the UK. 

Pulse Solutions – the dedicated business-support arm – can deliver a wide range of professional business operational solutions which will enrich leisure facilities to increase efficiency, profitability and sustainability.

Pulse Soccer – was consciously created in 2007 to improve standards and affordability for users of community football facilities and currently operates nine facilities including seven in partnership with the FA.  

The Pulse Group is a proud partner to BUCS Physical Activity and Health Strand. Pulse proudly work with over 5,000 education sector establishments in the UK which has helped increase participation by 500% in 15-21-year olds across our facilities. We have invested over £50m in improving leisure facilities in the education sector through gym design, equipment supply, total facility management, design & build of leisure facilities and marketing management.

We aim to work with educational institutions to create healthier and fully sustainable environments for their students, teaching staff and the wider community.
