Karen Rothery, Chief Executive at British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) said:

“I’m proud to announce Kukri as the official sponsor of the BUCS netball programme. With netball as the biggest female team sport in the UK, Kukri’s support of university netball will help us provide additional investment in the game to develop new competitions, improve participation even further and give our members access to high-quality and professional kit at reasonable prices.”

Pamela Cookey, England International and University of Bath netball player said:

“It’s great that university netball is recognised by Kukri as providing players with a competitive, high quality and enjoyable structure. My time at the University of Bath, and playing in BUCS leagues, has helped me grow into the player that I am today. The support that Kukri will now provide university netball can only strengthen the opportunities for other university players.”

Laura Thomas, Director, Kukri GB Ltd said:

“We are very excited to partner BUCS and sponsor the netball programme. As one of the leading manufacturers of world class netball playing, training and leisurewear it is a great honour for Kukri to support this venture. The netball programme grooms future internationals and gives athletes the opportunity to study and play at a very high standard. Through our partnership with BUCS and the Kukri BUCS Netball programme players and teams will look fantastic as well. We very much look forward to seeing the high quality netball throughout this programme.”
