British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) has confirmed an initial partnership agreement with genetic DNA profiling organisation, MUHDO until the end of the academic year.

BUCS is passionate about creating the best university sport experience in the world, from a fit for life mentality to elite sportsmen and women who go on to represent their country on the world stage. MUHDO supports this mission by analysing DNA using advanced nutrigenetics to gain insight into unique gene functions, providing individuals with a truly personalised health and fitness plan tailored to their goals.

MUHDO will have a presence at a range of BUCS sport events, in particular as the headline partner of BUCS Nationals. BUCS Nationals powered by MUHDO, is set to be held in Sheffield on 16 – 18 February 2018. The event is the UK’s largest annual multi-sport event with over 5,000 competitors from some 160 institutions, taking part in 8 sports. MUHDO will be supporting the event by engaging with competing students, providing educational opportunities as to how they can lead healthier lifestyles that will have a positive impact on their lives.

Commenting for MUHDO Health Ltd, Nathan Berkley, CEO said:

“We are extremely excited to be partnering with BUCS. Our collective future will be shaped by the university and college graduates of today. MUHDO can help power this next generation, by teaching and developing healthy habits that will benefit them for a lifetime.

“MUHDO will be supporting BUCS with a sponsorship package that includes headline partnerships at BUCS Cross Country, BUCS Rugby 7s Championship and Trophy events alongside BUCS Nationals, the UK's largest annual multi-sport event. MUHDO will also be attending several other events to run activations and engage with students and spectators.

Vince Mayne, CEO of BUCS commented:

“MUHDO and BUCS have the shared aspiration of changing society for the better. Students are the future leaders of our society and we hope working with MUHDO will mobilise those students to establish positive and active lifestyles which is at the core of what BUCS does.

“We are particularly looking forward to seeing them at the forefront of key events such as BUCS Nationals.”
