The story of MMU sport 10/11/2015

IN SEPTEMBER 2014, Manchester Metropolitan University and The Union unveiled a new brand identity, ‘MMU Sport’, as part of the strategy designed to transform the delivery of sport at the institution over the next three years.

The identity, served by a new crest, unified the sporting offer provided by both organisations and united the Manchester and Cheshire campuses, under one brand new look and feel.

Alongside the new crest and brand identity, a new playing kit, leisurewear and staff uniform was developed in collaboration with sportswear manufacturing company, O’Neills.

The kit was a significant step in creating a sense of belonging and togetherness, as the institution works towards its goal of being in the top 30 of the BUCS leagues.

The 2014/15 academic year was a significant one for MMU Sport, and the below infographic charts our success over the past year.
