Description
The Sport Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of new and existing sports programmes with a view to increasing levels of participation and enhancing the quality of experience for York students.
The Sport Coordinator will lead the BUCS sport programme, ensuring there is effective delivery and high student satisfaction rates. The Sports Coordinator will be responsible for building relationships with key student and university stakeholders and for ensuring there is strong and regular communication with York Sport Union members, clubs and partners. The Sport Coordinator will support the long term planning of sport and project manage sports events and any other projects as directed by the Opportunities Manager.
Here at YUSU we are able to offer flexible working arrangements with a real work/life balance (The core hours of work are Monday – Friday, 10am to 2pm). Your working week will be based around 35 hours per week, and you will have the responsibility to manage your hours in line with the business needs. We offer a generous holiday package of 34 days per year this includes 8 bank holidays. You can also enjoy an additional 4 closed days during the Christmas Period.
