Description
The Social & Recreational Sport Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the college and social sport programmes at the University of York Students' Union.
They will organise the college sport league programme, currently consisting of 15 different sports for our 11 colleges, and attracting over 2500 members each year.
The role holder will support the teams and their student leaders to take part in these leagues, and to run their own club activities.
As well as working to develop social sport sessions and improve our recreational sport offering for those students interested in turn up and play activities.
We are looking for someone that has strong organisational skills, can develop projects using their own initiative and has a passion for getting people physically active.
The ideal candidate will have strong time management skills and be able to communicate effectively with a variety of internal & external stakeholders.

This is a full-time (35hrs/wk), permanent role to start 15th December 2025.
