Description

We currently have 3 positions available as this year we are aiming to have multiple coaches to cover our 4 BUCS squads rather than just the one, therefore the positions are as follows:
- One experienced level 2 coach who will be the head coach of the first and second team, coaching at both their training sessions on a Monday evening 7pm-9pm and a Friday morning 7am-9am, this coach will also attend both home and away games with our first team at their regular Wednesday BUCS matches.
- The next coach will be a level 1 coach or above (hopefully working towards level 2) who will attend all our second teams home and away matches as well as supporting the head coach at the Monday night training session.
- Our first and second teams are both in high leagues in the BUCS competition often facing some difficult matches. The key for these teams must be a complete focus on achieving good results (whether that be wins or solid performances). The players are highly competitive and a very good standard of netball therefore the training sessions require structure such as specific aims as well as applicability to teams ensuring they work hard on aspects they need to improve upon but also enjoy their netball.
- The final coach is purely for our third and fourth team. This coach must be a level 2 coach but not as much experience is required for this role as it is for our first team. The coach must be available to lead both their training sessions on a Monday night 5pm-7pm and a Thursday night 5pm-7pm as well as attending both of the teams home games on a Wednesday.
Our third and fourth teams are newly entered into the BUCS leagues and are therefore having to work their way up the tables. The key for these teams, however, is player development so a structured training plan remains crucial despite the level of competition.

All of the above sessions take place at Sport Central, Northumbria University where essential equipment such as balls and bibs is provided.
The above roles are all paid positions though the pay does fluctuate depending on the experience required.

In order to apply for one, or more, of the above positions, please send your CV and cover letter (explaining your netball coaching experience) to netballnorthumbria@outlook.com
