You will need to balance a high volume of day to day work with unplanned needs of the organisation as they arise – and prioritising demands on your time. This is a generalist and diverse role that will be involved in human resources issues including employee relations, recruitment, supporting managers and providing professional advice in all HR policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will need to have either a relevant professional/HR qualification(s) or a willingness to work towards such qualification. You will need to be able to communicate and influence effectively.
You must be able to demonstrate: • a knowledge of relevant employment and equalities legislation • an ability to provide basic advice on employment terms, conditions, policies and procedures. • tactfulness and diplomacy • an ability to work with confidential information and build relationships • Highly organised with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects and deliver high-quality work to tight timescales.
It would be advantageous if you have previously supported or worked within HR and have partially completed or are working towards a CIPD qualification.
The post is full-time (Monday – Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm core hours) however, you may need to travel on occasion, as necessary.
The position is based at England Golf HQ in Woodhall Spa, Lincolnshire.
