Queen Mary University’s Running and Athletics Team are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable sprints coach with hurdles experience to train a growing group of high-performance athletes. The club is looking for a coach who can build on the success of last year's team and train new members that are joining the team this year.

Training Days

Tuesday 1700-1830 Sprint and Hurdle Session

Thursday 1700-1830 Mid-Long Distance Running London Marathon Community Track, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London E20 2ST

Job Description

- Plan and lead training sessions to a group of mixed ability players with diverse backgrounds and experience of the sport

- Build a men's and women's relay team to compete in the next LUCA series

- Work with the club to encourage new sign ups and maintain good retention rates

- Display good coaching conduct in line with Queen Mary Student’s Union Code of Conduct

- Develop the club to be more competitive in their league

- Be passionate about the sport and building an inclusive and fun environment for players

- Have an understanding of higher education sport

- Focus on improving players technique to prevent injury

- Work with the club committee to achieve the clubs aims and objectives for this year
