In accordance with the BUCS Regulations, institutions are reminded that a list of squad rankings is to be submitted prior to their first match.

All teams are required to submit squad ranking lists. The January re-ranking period is now closed. Teams may either stick with their original ranking list and abide by this, or, if they provided a new ranking list during January, must abide by this new order for the remainder of the season.
Ranking Rules
TEN 7.0 Ranking information must be submitted for all competing Institutions to the BUCS Office by the first league match of the season – failure to do so will result in a deduction of one league point. This ranking information will be available on the BUCS Tennis pages on the website for ease of reference.
TEN 7.3 Singles - The bona fide order of merit shall be in accordance with (a) current ATP/WTA Ranking where such a ranking is 750 or better (b) current LTA National Rating. Where two or more players hold the same current LTA national rating, the team captain shall have discretion in determining their playing order, always providing that the players concerned shall still be nominated in bona fide playing order. In exercising such discretion the captain may not move a player more than one place in the playing order from match to match.
TEN 7.4 If a team believes that TEN 7.3 places team members clearly out of bona fide playing order then permission may be sought from BUCS to override ratings. Such requests shall be made before the start of the season and can be resubmitted again prior to the start of matches in January.
Please complete the online form to prior to your first fixture, or no later than 16 October 2012. Failure to comply will result in a deduction of one league point.
All university tennis players registered on the BUCS squad ranking list will be eligible for a free British Tennis Membership number so they can gain a British Tennis Ranking. Club Captain’s should input their email address below so they can be contacted by BUCS with details of how players can apply for a BTM number.
